I think this is perfect processing for the subject but I just dont care for it personaly. To much like looking at a reversed negitive to me.I would love to see this before you processed it

You chose a very good subject but i see a few things that need a bit of help. first there looks to be a soft focus on the entire image. I would have liked to have seen a sharp focus either on the edge of the violin(I think thats what this is..sorry if im wrong here) or where the strings and bow meet. Second there is a bit too much light for this subject to meet the challenge. a faster shutter time would have fixed this. U did a great job on composistion. you have key elements in the perfect places that allows the eyes to easily move around this image without getting bored. and border is great(not distracting at all and simple) job well done and good luck

This is a very nice image and exactly my kinda photography! Only nit pick for me is it looks a bit soft on the focus which i think a bit of USM would have taken out. lovely colors and you did a great job!

Orchids

tho this is a wonderful flower your lights are way to harsh.turn your apture up( higher numbers) to about 10-15( i think) and try this again. I would love to see more detail in the orchids. If light is still blowning out the detail try putting a sheet of tissuepaper(wrapping kind) or a plastic grocery bag in front of the light to use as a makeshift filter/difuser(it works..i promise) this will also work if you are using a flash too close. good composistion and great focus!hope this helps...pm me if you have any questions
