Ghostly Hands-Freeby littlegettComment: Have to be a bit carefull when shooting a pattern such as what's in the hat. Although I'm sure it looks great on some monitors, it can also look overly sharpened as is the case on mine. I've got a very high contrast and very sharp monitor, as do many folks here and it's hard to strike a ballance that will match all conditions.
Might have tried a nore gradual transition between the light and shadow on the hat as well as it drops to almost black very suddenly and can be a bit startling.
Otherwise I like the image and think with a little refinement, it could be quite exceptional... :) |

Captured From Another Timeby SandyPComment: Sandy this stopped me dead. I can't remember the last time I was so jarred by a portrait. This truly is amongst the best ON SITE and one I would expect to see grace a very prominent page in any high end hardcover celebrating the best of the best. To finish anywhere but the top 10 for this challenge is confusing at best. Regardless... an amazing addition to your portfolio and one I'm sure will be recognized for what it is soon enough. WELL DONE! |

I l l u m i n a t e dby pepitoidComment: If you said this was a painting by one of the old masters, I wouldn't have been surprised. It's perfectly presented and I see this finishing in the medals. Congratulations and well done! Bumping for luck! |

She is...by glodaComment: Perfectly executed and presented. One of my favorites in the challenge. You've managed an excellent range without going to far in either direction. Simply lovely! |

The Human Formby CutterComment: What can be said about this except... perfect. Although the colors and tones are a bit subdued, they work perfectly. You couldn't have placed the model any better. This is one of those images that make you wish you could see a large, full glory version. Well done! Back for a final bump. Good luck! |

Mick Fanning (AUS)by gliphixComment: One of the best action shots I've seen in a long, long time. I see this at the top of the pile but perhaps will suffer a bit with those that don't care for this genre. I hope not cause I think it ROCKS! |
