How you managed to take a picture of a crowd and have only 2, maybe 3 people look directly at you is amazing. There's so much to look at this picture and, yes, it demands a viewing that is "3.4x" longer than the average photo. ;) After posting this I'm going to go back and look at it some more!

The dodge and burn is very well-handled here! I think in this case a shallow DOF would've hurt the image because there is so much to look at here and I want to see it all!

This picture rocks my socks off. Although, since it looks really nice on my monitor, and my monitor tends to be very dark, this shot may be a bit too bright. But what I'm looking at right now is a great capture. Good composition and contrast.

I like the added colors too - makes it a bit depressing though, but I like it. :) I also like the use of DOF here. However, do you have an alternate version that includes all of the petals/sepals?

I also really like this picture. It's hard to gauge brightness of pictures on here because my monitor is dark, even on the maximum brightness, but I would've liked to see more of the trunk go down to the edge of the image. If it's in fact there, then consider this just ramblings of a man bored at work... ;)

I really do think this shot is perfect the way it is. It's beautifully composed, it's sharp, the colors are amazing, there no distracting elements at all. Against this serene backdrop are only two man-made objects - any other objects in there like a building or a fence would've ruined it for me. I agree with Justin that the "no lifeguard on duty" sign adds to the photo. I'm not sure about his suggestion about adding someone in the tower...or anyone in the shot for that matter. True, it would be an entirely different picture, but I'm not sure how I'd feel about it. Actually, now that you mention it, I really would like to see that alternate version just see what I'd think about it. :) Anyway, this is going into my favorites!

A beautiful model in a candid state - I love it! Her smile and the hair all over the place definiltey make the photo. I think maybe slightly more light in the background and moving her slightly more off-center would've made it perfect. One of my favorites, however. :)

Oh wow, this picture made me jerk back when I finally saw him. "Hm...so it's just stairs...whoa..." My monitor's also on the dark side so the effect is that much greater. :)

I like the idea of this photo. I think to add further contrast - in addition to blurry vs. focus - would be to have children in the background to contrast age. However, as it stands, great lighting, great composition, great DOF.
