I think moving the DOF back a bit to include the stem would've helped this picture, in my opinion. Also, a white, as opposed to gray background would've also been nice.

Very interesting shot - I like it! I'm not sure why though...they're just boots. I guess all the right elements are there: good lighting, composition, and DOF. Excellent.

Good setup and great composition and great lighting. However, I think DOF could've been a bit more shallow. I'm still rating this pretty high, though. :)

I like the DOF and the lighting a lot in this image. I think, however, that getting the feet into the shot would've made it more apparent that he's dangling from a peg on a wall. I think moving the shot over to the left or pulling back a bit would've achieved this.

I think the DOF doesn't do enough here to isolate the foreground. Also, the shutter speed should've been a been faster to capture the water.

This composition forces me to focus on the out-of-focus area. However, I'm finding it a bit difficult to make out the object; I'm assuming it's an elbow propped on a couch arm rest. If that is the case, it's not a significant enough subject to draw the viewer in.

Although DOF and composition are good, there are a couple of things that don't sit right with me about this picture. I think the wire is a bit distracting. Also, I think that the space to the right of the ornament could be filled something more interesting, such as another light, perhaps.

Although the DOF is "right" in this image, focusing on the middle ornament is quite random. Since it's the only one in focus, my attention is drawn to it but then I'm left wondering what the significance of the middle ornament is. I would've liked to see an outtake with her maybe reaching for the middle one or simply looking at it.
