No Rudolph? :P I really like this picture for some reason. It's a very simple subject, but it's composed very well, the lighting is great, and the DOF is great.

A slightly more shallow DOF would've helped this image quite a bit and would've isolated the closest flower more. However, I like the lighting and composition.

I don't find the subject interesting enough to help pull the image together. Although the DOF is well done, the background and the subject are unrelated so it's hard for me to feel anything for the image.

I think the DOF is too shallow in this instance - it makes the object look as if it's just up against a brown backdrop instead of a background that's out of focus. However, I do like the composition and the crispness of the "liquid copper".

Nicely composed, however I think slightly more vivid colors would've helped. Also, the DOF doesn't give enough oomph to the image.

Choosing objects of color different from the main objects was a good choice here as it makes them stand out more in addition to the effect of the DOF. I like the composition as well as the lighting. For some odd reason, however, something is slightly off about the picture. I'm gonna give it a 7 until I figure out what it is...

Flash is a little harsh in this picture. Also, I think the focus should've been moved back to the ornament, which is more interesting than the tree tip. So, I think the depth of field is right, I just feel that it's on the wrong subject.
