I especially like this one, as he stares at you. It's almost as if he's back in his natural jungle! The lighting that you worried about also came out looking good - some real nice contrast between light and shadow.

Good representation. The bg looks somewhat unnatural, considering the type of letter - I guess I'd just expect to see it on a desk or a pillow, not plain blue. The motion blur on the rose is an interesting element.

Good capture of an object in motion - I imagine this must have taken several attempts to get. Too bad you couldn't shoot a bit faster and eliminate that motion blur.

A good shot that had potential to be even better. While the water reflection at the bottom is nice, it would have been good not to crop off the top of the firework, IMO, as doing so left the focus torn between the top and bottom of the pic, with neither really dominating - the eye is instead drawn to the dark area in between, trying to decide between them.
