South Africa by prperoldComment: I was so happy to see this on the front page as I was born in Zimbabwe and lived a large part of my life in South Africa. If this is taken from Bloubos strand across the bay from Table Mountain it is where my father's ashes were scattered when he passed away in September last year. It is truly a beautiful area and he loved to sit on a bench with the view every Sunday and read the newspaper.
This is truly a beautiful photo well done. |

Resistanceby JammurComment: This finished a few higher than mine but I think it deserves better, these shots arent easy to pull off so that they look so pleasing to the eye. I love it. |

All I Want for Christmas is a Miracleby KarenNfldComment: I love this view Karen, I think I have seen you shoot from this vantage point before, but the person in the wheelchair just strengthens it, especially considering that my husband is wheelchair bound and quadraplegic. Great choice for B&W too. |

Land Of The Setting Sunby J-MeComment: Thanks for your recent comments and adding to my favorites. I just wanted to say that this can happen so easily. A while back I entered this for a challenge and just by chance left the paint brush in the frame, not thinking that it would be considered a work of art!!!!!! If the paint brush wasnt there it would have been DQ'd without me even thinking of that rule. Heck I just put some paints on a piece of card and swished them around, who would think LOL. So I was lucky and the rule can be very subjective so just keep on truckin' these things happen.
Edit to add: I think the rule has got much more strict since I did this though so today it would probably be a DQ Message edited by author 2008-12-16 08:59:33. |

Spanish Dancerby reephotoComment: This is awesome and appears to be taken of the same as the other horse rearing, I just wish you had been able to get more of the legs and tail in the frame. Still beautiful 8 |
