It's a Blue Christmas Without You by bledfordComment: Very nice tone. Probably would have worked better as a verticle crop; the positioning of the bulb and your angle allows for this without having it look too centered, I believe. I think this will do very well none the less. |

Punks... Since 1976by grandmarginalComment: Wrong challenge? Or maybe you were thinking, it (the spiked do) looks like a star? In a challenge where it would meet the challenge topic, I would probably cut out the negative space on the right with a square crop. It does have a jounalistic feel to it. |

Halley's Pepperby NeilComment: Did you use the flash for this shot Neil? To me it doesn't look like it. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I believe, had you used first curtain sync (all that us DRebel users can do anyway), you would have separated the pepper from the trail; I think that would have made it much more dynamic and the pepper would have shined (no pun intended). That's how I did this . |

By Exampleby soccerdadComment: Hey Bill, this was one of my favorites in this challenge. I'm going to put in in my favorites (my first I'm ashamed to say - *note to self add more pictures/artists to favorites). Great use of desaturation, beautiful composition, should have placed much higher IMHO. |

Yellow Double sixby Crafty SueComment: In order to make an interesting shot of a simple item such as this you should probably try shooting it from a different angle. Maybe lit from one side so that the stronger shadow you produce has a purpose. Also you may try using a tripod to make your subject as sharp as possible. I'm also seeing some noise which could easily be eliminated using Neat Image or other noise reduction programs. Hope this helps. |

Pride of London by ImagineerComment: Great image. So good it doesn't even look real. It's awe inspiring even. OK, enough cliches. I'd love to see the original.......please. |

A splash of color to burn off the coastal fog!by BethanComment: Very nice. I would have tried the shot from a different angle to avoid the shadow on the lower right. Maybe a little less tight crop also. And rotate so the house isn't leaning. Classic outport colours. ;) |

Rifle Shooted Water Balloon. by eojedaaComment: Great shot. What type of trigger mechanism did you use to sync your flash? I tried the same thing with a little cornstarch in a balloon, manually, without a trigger and couldn't get the timing just right, so I abandonned the idea. Congrats on the ribbon.
