That's great. The colour gradient does indeed give it an interest and a glow. I have no idea what it is and I have sent ages trying to work it out so it has engaged me and made me spend time with it. That means it works. I'm figuring on it being a a glasswork of some sort.

What a lovely intricate and interesting subject. It's sufficiently complex to make it abstract. I can't decide if having such a shallow DOF works for or against it. So I ignored that factor :)

A macro of that agnitude is really difficult to get right. This one's focus point of the stamen tip makes it interesting

This looks to have been overly post processed because the tones of the greens have broken down. Did you use a lot of contrast to give it some punch? I see it where the outer rings of flesh blend with the seed cells.
