	Chain Grip by philup Comment: very effective use of high contrast. Prehaps a bit too much though even for this challenge - I don't like the blown out area on the hand, it is right in the middle of the frame and the rest of the photo is so well exposed.

	Resilient Height by anaheimca89 Comment: dark moody and truly beautiful, this is the only high contrast landscape in the challenge that works for me.

	Crossing the Threshold by nicoledb Comment: great use of high contrast - simple and beautiful photo. only nit pick is that it feels like we aren't square on to the wall, and my view is drifting to the left, might just be a optical ilusion though.

	View from Ecola Point, Sunset by Bear_Music Comment: this is by far my favourite photo in this challenge, I'm ashamed that my poor oversaturated photo was somehow voted higher than this masterpiece. It says a lot about the tastes of the dpc voters that this didn't break the 9 barrier.

	Intensity by love Comment: beautiful use of high contrast - would probably win the blue in that challenge but should also do very well in this one. like all good portraits you've captured the eyes perfectly - well done

	End Of The Line by jrjr Comment: magical! Post processing is spot on and composition is beautiful. I'm a sucker for a nice seascape and this fits the bill perfectly.
