Turn Up The Heat

I love the range of colors you've got in this one. Normally I'd complain about it being oversaturated, but it works well artistically here. I'd change the crop slightly to get rid of whatever-it-is at the bottom of the image.

Very effective, convincing "heat" shot.

Funniest take I've seen on that warning message. Well done shot -- you really captured those flames.

That's one ugly fire danger sign you found! Looks a bit overexposed. Did you desaturate the green to make the red stand out, or is it really that dry?

Perhaps a white balance problem, but I'd expect the burners to be more red. These seem to be pink with a hint of blue.

Just to let you know that some Nikon owners have a sense of humor. I gave you a "6". I would suggest you stick to landscapes, though. :-)

Shame on me. You did manage to fool me! Sure looks like a photograph of a lenscap on a print. Maybe if it had some motion blur or was tilted like it was spinning on its way down. It just appears too static. (Hope I'm helpful now.)

The problem being the car is out of focus while the lens cap is in focus. Solution would be to photograph just the car and print it, then put the cap on the photo and reshoot. Not a literal interpretation, so it would pass the rules.

Nice textures and sharp image. B&W conversion did well for it.
