I've just been flicking through the 628 or so images, mostly on thumbnail size, and yours just caught my eye. I love it, and I dont even really yet know why. Lets see......there is such mood and feeling to it, for some intangible reason. The diffuse glow, the desaturation, even the little foreground grasses, just make it a lovely whimsical moody photograph, full of emotion, but done with such restaint. Well done.

I would say that improved lighting would strengthen this. The wilting, bug-chewed petals up top, and the busy background to the left distract me a bit. But I find the focal point nicely sharp, and the depth of field is good too.

Aish, this is lovely. His expression is wonderful. I'd just like to see his eyes sharper, and brighter. I dont know that the vignette effect is helpful either. But overall, I like it a lot.
