Coffered Domeby npaselComment: For geometric subjects like this, I think it works best if you are perfectly centered or obviously purposefully asymmetrical. |

Don't Mixby tvsometimeComment: The lighting on the car is great--just enough so you can tell what it is despite the blur. I wish there was just the tiniest bit more space on top so the bottle wouldn't feel so crowded. |

Ceeper by BaldurTComment: I can't believe this didn't even break a 6! Completely underrated. |

Anguishby Eagle40Fox2Comment: "The anguished arancia." That's what this image makes me think anyway : ) Looking forward to the Photographer's Notes on this one to hear about the thoughts and ideas behind the photo. |

helixby liangdaweiComment: This is such a gorgeous image. The color, the composition, and the depth of field are all very well done. I think that based on the most common definition of a "still life" this image won't receive as high of a score as it would have in a different challenge. I think this probably would have even held up better in the Free Study (which says a lot of positives about the image!). Still a great photo, even if it doesn't ribbon. (Not voting.) |

Erotic (violent pornography)by blacjackComment: I wish you had used a shallower depth of field and/or moved the glasses farther from the background so you could blur out the horizon line and the texture of the background. I love the way the light looks on the glass, but I'm not completely sold on the light on the background. Maybe if it was a more subtle and smooth gradient? |
