Waspby BenComment: Great Macro shot, Crisp detailing and good overall DOF. I agree with Gunnsi however I would like to see a bit more of the bee close up in the photo.
Keep Shooting.

IMG_3077.jpgby BenComment: I like the colors chesen in this photo, but I think you should have shot with a slightly deeper DOF this way the inside of the photo would have been in focus. As it is right now my eye is drawn more to the leave in the upper left that is in focus that to the inner flower. Good use of DOF however to blur the background.
Keep Shooting.

Bluebell Pathby BenComment: I love this shot, the path in it screams walk me.... I think you did a good job cloning out the leaf. I cannot see where you did the cloning. Good use of DOF to blur the flowers also...
Thanks for sharing.

Clarityby bcobleComment: I think the composition of the photo, the over darkness of the forground takes away from the major subject (I believe subject of forground is the rock on left) and leaves the rock to dark. I also do not care for the reflection of the cloudys on the choppy water. I think it would be better it the water was calm. I like the background mountains however.

The Fishermans Cabinby KrisbyComment: Hi Krisby,
Great photo, I love to overall photo. I think you should attempt cropping out some of the right side with with rock ledge. I think this draws away more than helps your photo. Another attempt on a day with a blue sky might give a better definition in the background behind the waterfall.

Treeby SJCarterComment: I like this shot... I think you did a good job with the composition of the tree and you couldnt have wished for a better looking sky. Nicely done.

Dark Hollow Fallsby SJCarterComment: Great Water shot, nice use of slow shutter speed. What shutter speed was this? Great clarity and sharpness. Could brighten a bit... Overall I would given it an 8.

LK_0159.jpgby eschelarComment: I think this one would have been better vertically than horitzontially. My mind wants to know what the little fingers are doing and the table running vertical on the right hand side is kind of distracting. I would re-compose or crop it out. Also try desaturating the orange smock behind her, I keep looking behind her because the orange is so vibrant.

LK_0219.jpgby eschelarComment: Just my 2 cents worth on this one, in response to the request of harsh critisism.
I do not like the amount of focus that is lacking in this shot. His hand in the foreground is soft, the shoulder is soft and the persons hand on his shoulder is soft. Maybe a slightly greater depth of field would have gotten rid of the cast and gave a bit better crispness. Also, I can not tell if it is the photo or the actual door but it looks like the photo is tilted slightly.
Overall compositionn is great.

LK_0190.jpgby eschelarComment: Eschlar,
The eyes look good, but I feel the background is to much, My eyes are brought into the back before they come to the girl in the foreground. I would like to see this as a selective desaturation of the girl or (I do not know if this one is possible) leave the background but take the orange away from the kids smocks in the background. Do somthing that will draw attention more to the forground.
