no standingby mariucaComment: Love the play between the two signs, great eye catching it. I think a square crop would have made this a lot stronger. |

Wow, you could have not asked for a better sky and sunset for the shot. It's very bright and vibrant and really draws you in. Love hoe the sign captures my attention front he start and then the road leads my eye to the sunset. Great job. Cropping some from the left may have created a stronger photograph and it looks a little over cooked in the saturation, especially in the sky. |

Fear them, for they are dangerous!by PaulComment: I am taking part in the "Comment on the first 10 photos during voting" challenge and you are photo #8
Love the sign, perspective, and composition. It is all perfect, hate the processing. It looks like a gimmicky iPhone app filter was applied. Would have preferred to see all the detail in the buildings and especially the clouds. Such beautiful fluffy clouds that I know just had to be full of wonderful detail. |

Going, going...by DuctylComment: I am taking part in the "Comment on the first 10 photos during voting" challenge and you are photo #1
I really like the humor between the two signs along with the perspective and composition of the photograph.
Removing the power lines would have made it a much better photograph. Also, when shooting, stopping down the lens for a greater field of view would have given you a much stronger image. Would have been nice if the tree and clouds were in focus and showing some detail. Maybe even waiting for a pretty blue sky with nice white puffy clouds. |

The idea and location are perfect. Really love the play on bike and bike. The image is just flat overall and the two things you want focus on (guy on bike and sign) are a bit dark and hard to see. A slightly better crop to put the sign and man on or close to a rule of thirds line would make it a much stronger image. The flat look can be corrected by shooting at a better time of day and some more processing in what ever program you use. |

Great location and a wonderful photograph. Would have preferred to see the entire sign, as it is I keep trying to look up and right to see the rest of the sign......which causes me to miss seeing the mountains and beautiful blue sky. |

Really dig the concept and processing, great job. The crop have been a lot better. The amount of white on the sides is not even (there may even be some distortion with the verticals that could have been corrected) and was cut off from the top and bottom. Cropped so all sides of the sign were the same would have made this a really strong image. |

Beautiful photograph and wonderful conversion along with some nice cloud action. I am not a fan of the selective color style of photograph. I see why you went with it as the tracks and bridge really draw the eye in. Even with the sign being in color I had to force myself to look for the sign as my eye is just drawn to the center. Think a different spot (to one side) and different crop would have made for a much stronger image. |
