The sky is Not the limitby DsealeComment: A second look: get rid of the border! There's no limit, now is there? The more I look at this photo, the more I like it. It gets better with time, like a good wine. |

The Path We Takeby stare_at_the_sunComment: Great photo! I love the fact that they are just standing in front of the long road ahead of them, a metaphor for life. And teh scene is excellent: most of it empty, with a few clouds and trees.
Don't you think that "The path we're about to take" would be better for a title? |

Corona Extraby angela_packardComment: The image is busy: so many things scattered all over the place, no order at all, everything is an interesting point by itself, but not as a whole. It's a bit dark, but I guess more light would mean that the Corona neons would be distracting, so the trade was a very tough one.
So, why 6, why above average? Because it celebrates life, it has these lovely colorful and star-shaped twinkles, it's a refreshing take on the challenge, and it doesn't have "sign..." in the title.
If there would be a human face in the shot, it would be better, because what else is a beter celebration of life than a happy smiling human in a bar having a cold nice beer?
Off I go now for a beer... |

Signs for Sinners?by joycobbComment: I know now: I like the idea of using this angle, but I don't like how it came out to be at this shot. It bothers me that the semicircular dome or whatever that thing in the rrof is, and a bit of the left window aren't showing completely in the picture. |

A roadby ursulaComment: Cool shot, great angle, wonderful colors, excellent composition, but...man, I feel dizzy, this hurts my eyes and brain!
But again, who says that photos shouldn't make the brain hurt?
More like this, please! |

Calienteby graphicfunkComment: Wow, I gave a 6 to graphicfunk! I guess I need to explain why: the colors, sharpness, composition and all the technical parts of the photo are perfect, so I knew that the guy/gal who took the picture knows what he's doing. But, when I started looking for a story I got disappointed, because there wasn't any. Yes, I see that there is a nice coffee and/or a taxi service at Cliente, in a very lovely neighbourhood (I love those blood red bricks and the texture), but, what's the point? I didn't get it.
The technical merits made the mark above average, but only that, no more.

Stigmataby fotomann_foreverComment: I guess "the creepiness" of the image could have been "fixed" by making some grundge or stylish colors and votes of the DPC people would pour; but then I wouldn't like it as much as I like it with natural colors, because thisway the photo shows that stigma is closer than we think. |
