Interesting shot. Would have been better if it was closer to the insect. I know you may have been limited by your lens.

Too dark, slightly out of focus and the flowers seem to be the main focal point, not the "insect".

Hmmm...I'm curious as to what it is. Maybe I really don't want to know! Is it animal, vegetable or mineral? A very interesting shot though.

Shadows and hand are distracting elements. Gorgeous model!

I've voted low on most of the shots with really heavy grain. However, I think it works well in this one. This picture is well composed with great contrast between the light and dark elements. My eyes are continually drawn from the hand holding the hat down to the feet. Well done!

I'm not a big flower nut but this is well done. In a regular entry I don't think I would have voted as high as I did here. I think the grain adds a lot to the delicate look of the flower. This is one of my top pics.

I really like the way you used negative space, DOF and blurred grain to accentuate the flower. Well done!

I don't usually like tilted shots (I've tried them a few times and gotten negative comments) but it works here. I really like the dark, moody feel of this picture. It's almost dream like.
