Needs a Zamboni by the looks of the snow. Bryant Park's The Pond is a far nicer rink, if not so iconic. Good exposure on this shot.

Beats the heck out of the 24-70 2.8 in such conditions, providing you can get close enough. In this photo looks as if the focus point/plane is at the back of the shoulders / somewhere behind the eyes.
