ICARUS FALLEN with cardboard wings...by desertsnailComment: Beautiful. It's a *tiny* bit hard to see that the wings are cardboard but when I look and can see that they are, it then meets the challenge because you used a box to be creative! Didn't say it had to stay a box. Composition and lighting are very nice and this just seems to be a very lovely modern interpretation of the Icarus myth. Good job. |

Two Great Vintagesby BrianRComment: I think that this image is very oversaturated. I know what that candy box looks like and it is not that bright. That would be okay, if you wanted to brighten it, but there seem to be these little yellow dots on the table area and I think *overall* there is too much yellow. However, I DO like what you did with matching the colors of the box to the colors on the bottle. That is what I noticed first and I think it was very nicely done. So to sum up, I think the colors and color combination are good, just overall they are overpowering. |

You Wanna Piece of Me?by BAMartinComment: With a little less noise and a little more sharpness/focus/nonblur this would be so fantastic! It's good as it is, but with less noise and such it would really stand out. |

Perfect for storíng CDsby IreneMComment: I think this is an okay image. It definitely is very visually appealing at first glance but as I look at it a bit more there is sort of a harsh break between the sleek colors of the CDs and the textured blandness of the cardboard. Not terrible or anything, just a little bit weird for me. |

Joker in the Boxby BarbBComment: Very well done! The only thing I wish is that I could see the back edge of the box - it feels a little flat as-is. |

My Demon.by seeComment: Very creative approach with the skull - however the subject of the cigarette box does not scream "cardboard" to me, especially with the red. I would not say this does not meet the challenge (because I'm pretty sure that cigarette boxes *are* cardboard), however I feel that you probably are not appealing to the challenge as much as you might. For people who aren't spending a lot of time thinking about the entries, they might say that this doesn't meet the challenge. I do again want to say that I like the creative approach, and I think that this is a meaningful and emotional image. |

....I See You!by JeniYComment: Aw, cute little nose! I like the editing here... kind of like this needs to be hanging on the wall of some really chic woman's flat or something. |

You want me to think OUTSIDE of the box???by NobodyComment: Oh! What a lovely piggie! I absolutely LOVE the pose as the face, being white, contrasts over the back of the body instead of visually blending in which would probably happen if the hair were all the same color. Not to mention the pose looks so curious and alert. I had a pig and he did not get any of the plastic igloos, but boxes to play in.. so this brings back memories. And I love the addition of the hay - it makes it look as though the piggie is right at home in your photo. I maybe wish some of the top had been cropped off - it isn't horrible there or anything, just a bit unnecessary to me. Oh, and another thing! Pretty good detail in the white hair and good job eliminating the red-eye problem. And.. I like the lighting because it emphasizes the face, and it seems elegant and dramatic. Okay, I'm rambling... I just love guinea pigs and your photo is very nice!! |
