Los Girasoles by Gaby_GComment: cool :) I did something kinda like this once, but with spots. Yours turned out much better than mine though. I think its because the flowers are your subject, not the person, and the great contrast in pattern and color on b/w. That and I had to model it myself. Anyway, I really like this. Great job. |

Tree in gray weatherby hajekaComment: I feel like the tree is hiding some potentially interesting background that you might have captured had you moved a bit more forward and to the left. |

Wear's Walldoughby BlackboxComment: Is that a clothing factory? I don't get the title. Waldo looks like the subject, so I don't feel as though you've hidden him. |

on a day hikeby ursulaComment: I like the way you caught the sunlight filtering through the tree canopy and highlighting some leaves/ferns. The dirt of the trail has nice contrast against the green and leads my eyes along the journey. The angle of the hill adds to a sense of potential motion. The highlighted leaves on the tree at the very top left distract me though and I think the composition would have been even stronger if some of the top were cropped off. I like that there is a person in the photo, but I wish I could see a little more of him. Even with him more exposed, I don't think he would become the main subject and he would still blend in well with his camoflauged backpack. |
