Desolate for Milesby Chilly0999Comment: This definitely has a feeling of desolation - lone subject dwarfed by its barren landscape. Why so dark in the sky? this may be overdone and is slightly distracting, but the overall image is an excellent entry. |

Forgotten Landmarkby mariomelComment: Great entry for this week. Your subject is well composed and it has one of the most important qualities for this assignment for my voting - depth. I think desolation should give the viewer a sense of being surrounded by the desolate feeling and you've done a good job with this. |

Real Estate Bargain!by miss parkerComment: This is an excellent entry - the broken doorway gives the illusion of being granted entry into your image with a peek into something that is very desolate. Your choice of toning colors here also gives it an "older" look.

Nuclear Wastelandsby arnitComment: Beautiful, dark image with excellent "development". The tones here are wonderful with an incredible accent cloud that is darker than the rest. It really gives an amazing depth to this image. Great work. |
