waitby bvlindalouComment: not much in it though ... 0.01 at the end ... my score plummeted in the last hour.
but, as my original comment said, this is a great shot. congrats on the top 10 finish! :) |

Sew Realby toddheadComment: this is a very, very clever photo ... i admit i had to look at it twice before i saw the silhouette. an outstanding composition. even though i don't think this is personification, i've still given you 10! :) |

Post Mortem Examinationby samhallComment: oh ... oh ... this is just terrible. i'm sorry but i don't have the stomach for this.
please don't be offended, but i think this is in rather poor taste. |

Ivan The Terrible by rinacComment: this made me laugh ... great composition. i'd have changed the framing a bit, lowering the camera to crop out the ground (below the wall) but keeping the boy's feet in the shot. that's my only criticism - the bottom of the frame. perhaps also a bit brighter ...
but i liked this very much. 10 from me! :) |

Living with Asthmaby taljComment: technically it needs work ... i think the lighting is a bit off ... more detail is needed on the asthma apparatus and perhaps a black shirt to prevent the blown highlights.
but i think the composition is good ... use of the frame is very, very good. the tube comes in from the bottom corner very nicely and the negative space works well to draw attention to the subject.
to be honest, i think you've under processed this shot because it's a self portrait ... i think that comes from a reluctance or fear to express yourself. adding a little more light and sharpness to the shot would make the world of difference.
overall, a very good shot ... and quite an impact! 8! |

The Temptationby toddheadComment: a lot of people predicted you for a ribbon ... me included.
this is one of the best compositions i've seen for a while. you should stick this on dcprints ... you'd sell a stack of them! :)
i gave you a 10 and a comment ... why anyone would vote below 5 is beyond me ...
brilliant work. well done! |

Emotional Outlet by scalvertComment: very nice. at first i wondered how you got the drop to sit like that. then i realised it was probably glue or something similar. nice reworking of a cliched theme! 9! |
