Taken from Achilles Point if I'm not mistaken, great place for a nightscape. Have a very similar picture framed on the wall, might see you up there some time :-)

Too much black at the top makes the picture feel top heavy, but the exposure at the bottom is great, a crop without the top half looks great.

To me Harvest Sky suggests the great colouration you see at that time of year, contrast between sky and land. B/W loses it for me, I do like the sky there is a great gradient top to bottom.

I feel like there are two photographs here, one would be in close on the horses and riders with the snow giving some texture. Second, the contrast in the autumnal colours in the trees with the snow. But I'm afraid for me the two do not work together.
