POP!by kriscros16Comment: Love the expression on their faces - it makes me smile every time I look. It looks like the image was over exposed causing the red channel to blow out. That is what has caused the yellowness in the facial highlights. The image also seems rather grainy/noisy as though the ISO was set very high. You score high for creativity but loose some for the technicals I'm afraid. |

bubble impressionismby krnodilComment: A nicely executed, simple image. Great use of lighting to create gentle colours and interesting tones. The shallow dof works well. I would have been tempted to crop off the bottom 15% of the picture as it does not seem to contribute anything. |

Eye of the Stormby elizadebComment: My first thought was eyeball! Lots of interesting colours and details going on.
I like the composition, with the slanting line. the heavy black border helps to constrain my eye within the frame. The rectangular reflection in the center is a little off putting as it looks just like a flash head! Its is not the reflection that is the problem, I think it is a good "catch light", it is just that it looks like a flash head. If it is not a flash head then it is just unfortunate, if it is a flash head then I think using some means of disguising its shape would have helped. The fact that I have just been playing around with a flash could have made me over sensitive to this detail but if anyone else says the same thing, then I guess not.. lol |

coloredby diannaraeComment: An interesting image with beautiful golden colours and soothing tones. It just seems to lack that little bit of clarity that would take it to the next level. It looks to me as though there is not enough Depth of Field (DOF). On close up shots like this the effect of shallow DOF becomes more pronounced and "stopping down" to a smaller aperture becomes vital at times. Your use of lighting is excellent and was the key to this image, it has given it both form and composition with the gradient tones from top to bottom. |

Alien Universeby ltlmschrisssComment: Nice, simple picture of bubbles! The composition is good and I like the choice of colour. The focus seems just a little to far back though. With macro it is often a good idea to take a few shots with the focus in very slightly different positions and pick the one that works best later. |

Got Chocolate Milk?by imagesbytlpComment: Nice image and well controlled lighting on the background. I think perhaps a back-light shining through the bubbles would have helped them to have more impact. As the lighting is at the moment my eye is draw to the handle of the mug and that becomes the subject of the image. The lighting simply isn't balanced from left to right. |

Bliss!by tmorninglory96Comment: I really like this. It's fun yet gentle and the tones are nice. I like the motion blur of the bubbles in the top left. It is a real shame about the loss of detail in the foam on her shoulder. I would have cropped the image just above that point to get rid of the distraction. If it wasn't for that one thing I think this picture would do much better. |

Honey Bubblesby libertyComment: What a great idea! Very clever that I can see the garden through the bubble. It just needed a bit more "ping" to be really great. It needs a little more contrast and a touch of sharpening too. |
