Rising over the morning sunby manishkComment: this looks almost too good to be real. Very cool bokeh of the sun! even though the subject is more of a shadow than a foreground per se, the foreground is a shadow! cool! |

Flower of the Dayby Miss TaterbugComment: I like your use of the blurry background to capture the essence of the "bokeh" - without those cool glowing orbs (what are they?) the flowers would be beautiful, but not necessarily as interesting. |

Waiting for Foodby roonieComment: I love the use of the shadow on the hores's face, and blurred clothesline or haybin on the left. It's just enough and not too much detail to add interest to the horse. |

Barbed Postby statusquoComment: cool shot - love the use of bokeh for the field and part of the barbwire leading away from the post. If all of the wire were in focus, it would not be as interesting - would be more of a 'portrait' mode than purposeful interest |

After the Stormby sailracer_98Comment: beautiful shot, I like that there is another flower in this composition. alone, yes, the main rose would be beautiful, but with the other one in sight, it is more interesting. |

waiting for my turn to bloomby margiemuComment: great use of "bokeh" to draw attention back and forth between old and young daisies. I think this is what the challenge is all about - using one to draw attention to the other, not just random blurriness. nice job :) |

Crystal Dropby -Bec-Comment: good capture of the essence of "bokeh" - I am intrigued by the background. The crystal itself wouldn't be as interesting without the uncertainty of the background. |

DragonFlyby jbsmithanaComment: beautiful shot!! good focus on the dragon and its perch, the bokeh is more driven by portrait need for BG to blur, rather than add interest. |

"life line"by dockieComment: good use of intrigue!! I picture the greens of course as outside scenery, but the title brings me back to the hospital and possibly instrument lights. Not knowing what it is makes it more interesting! Great clarity on the graduated cylinder-type markings and the very liquid contents! |

Al Salamu alikom (May you have peace)by rblantonComment: Oh my, that is beautiful!!! I love the bokeh background, but the off-focus petal in front is a bit distracting. I would like to see it in focus as the rest of the [flower?] beautiful!! |
