Black-capped Chickadeeby TallisManComment: Excellent composition and excellent exposure control to not blow out the whites in the face. This is a really nice shot. Beautiful bokeh and quite and interesting subject. You have to love these little guys. I suppose that's why they are photographed so much. Nice details in the featherers. I'm so glad that you didn't try to over sharpen the image which would have ruined it. It's sharp enough just as is, most likely because you are shooting with high quality glass. Good luck with the challenge!!! |

Liesurly Swimby CraigFComment: Nice composition and beautiful colors. I see some detail in the featherers but the image also look like you maybe tried to over sharpen it a bit. Not sure but that's sort of how it look on my screen at least (which is calibrated). It could also be the result of the image being downsized so much for the challenge too depending on the method you used but I'm not sure. Good luck with the challenge. |

Yumby GreetmirComment: This shot look blurry to me and also overexposed and possibly like you made to much of an effort to try and sharpen it up. I like the idea of the shot but I think the things I mentioned above really detract from the shot a little too much for me to be able to enjoy it. Good luck with the challenge!!! |

Royalty in Africaby TygerrComment: WOW! Excellent capture! So, how long have you been photographing for National Geographic? Are they hiring? LOL!!! Really an awesome shot! Great exposure and composition. Nice colors in this shot also. I like how they are just kind of ignoring you and not looking in to the camera as so many times animals do. The fact that they aren't staring you down makes the photograph feel that much more natural. Good luck with the challenge!!! |

California Harbor Sealsby AnnComment: Excellent shot. Nice control of the exposure. Looks like this might have been a difficult shot to not blow out the highlights with the direct sun. I like the warm golden tones this shot has. Probably taken in the early morning? Very cute and I like how it is looking back over it's shoulder at you. Good luck with the challenge!!! |

Predatorby jeroweComment: Awesome capture but for some reason it looks a lot like a painting instead of a photograph. Good luck with the challenge! |
