A shot which is nice and I expect fairly personal and holds good memories for the parents. I think for competition the image would be better cleared of the presents, so you just see the child with the bauble, because the pose is fantastic. It would also benefit then from portrait orientation, allowing you to fit the whole person in. 5 from me.
