Desert symphony by ELLIPSComment: Hey Michael, congratulations on the Yellow for this beautiful landscape. The sand is turned to a gold masterpiece sculpted by the wind. I think I might know why you're getting comments about a wider crop--the slanting lines on the right are strong leading lines, leading to nowhere. We read from left to right, so those lines are leading downward, to the edge of the frame. It's a slightly uncomfortable experience. I wonder what would happen if it was flipped. Then the lines would be leading upward, into the picture, creating a more comfortable viewing experience. Only a suggestion, Michael. It's beautiful as is. |

The Cross by markwileyComment: Congratulations on the Blue & the PB, Mark. This is a classic & an instant fav. Pleasurable to look at for the tones, shapes, & lines -- & the variety of textures. Perfect for BW. Well done. |

Vinesby NikonJebComment: Did you think about a hi-contrast version of this cool subject? It'd be great to see it, if you did. |

Twilight in the Gardenby Bear_MusicComment: I want this printed on a big piece of silk, & draped around my neck. PS now I feel better about the 5.x scores I've received. Thanks. |

a nap by NiallOTuamaComment: This is amazing for the mix of conflicting emotions I experience when I look at it. Almost as if you, all the people in this shot, all events & people it took to lead up to this moment--were meant to converge at this moment so you could get this shot, PP it perfectly, & post it here for me to see & experience. And now the rest of my existence is affected by this butterfly's wing. Sorry if this sounds a little over-the-top. I'm not even drinking.
Thank you. |

Gentrification of the Landby P-A-U-LComment: Wow. How did you do it? Somehow you took a camera with you when you time-traveled to the 19th century. And you brought back this clean, clear shot. And only that one horse noticed you. And the gentlemen appear to have naked knees. Wow! |
