	Newton and the Apple by daboardergirl Comment: The apple does not really appear to be a part of the picture. Perhaps having someone (Newton?) in the photo with the apple to scale would work better.

	Searching for the Cure by DrAchoo Comment: I like the sweeping lines created by the flame. They really draw your eye upward to the eyes of the scientist. Very cool!

	Experiment: Do Plants Grow Towards Light? by glad2badad Comment: The brilliant blue against the black bg is quite effective. I want to see more of the flower (face and stem), so I suggest cropping it in portrait as opposed to landscape.

	3-2-1 Ignite! by dsterner Comment: Lighting is good, but I think the overall shot would be improved with a different bg. Also, a flame would give it added interest.

	Lactose Fermenting Bacteria by senor_kasper Comment: Good idea! This could be in a microbiology textbook! I like the vibrancy of colors. To improve this, I think that the bacterial colony to the left of the inoculating loop should be in sharp focus, as my eye is drawn there.
