Tabasco- made with peppersby kellmak10Comment: Really amazing setup. Would have been so much better though if you had managed to get the background white in processing by playing with the levels. You may possibly have it anyway, but I imagine that would have guaranteed you the blue. |

Instinctby LutchenkoComment: Very pretty. I think the unusual crop is pleasing to the eye, but not particularly appropriate for a catalog or advertisement. Same with the image grain, which I personally love, but not for that application.
Great selective desaturation. |

Crystal Head Vodka by KarenNfldComment: Really really great lighting. I'm just not taken with the composition of the shot. I feel like two subjects were not necessary, and you should have just stuck to the skull. Also the subjects looked cramped in the frame. More space around them would have been good I think.
Having said that, it would have been a very hard decision for me to crop out the glass, because it looks so fantastic :) |

With Loveby sekarmalathyComment: Really stunning shot. Lighting is excellent and focus is good. My equal pick for the red. 8. |

Finest Jewelleryby bubeltrubelComment: Really great sharpness. I thought that one of the other shots in the challenge was Oliver's (h2), but this would work really really well as a stock image, so maybe this one is his.
Really good job - bumping to 8. |

Bulgari Aqua by h2Comment: Sharpness, color and contrast are all spot-on. A lot of attention must have gone into those reflections!
Nice use of the water drop to add interest (hope you don't get slaughtered in voting because of it!).
Not 100% convinced by the composition of this shot. Had the potential to be a blue ribbon, but I put it equal second - 8.
I'm probably wrong, but I'm going to guess that this is Oliver's. |

From The Ground Upby Luci11eComment: Great sharpness and tones. The light here is a bit flat, but somehow beautiful and compliments the moss. The problem with this shot is the composition. The bottom branch detracts dramatically, and it is like you didn't really know what you were focussing on with the image.
Not sure specifically how it could have been improved without being there, but perhaps more around a little, looking through the viewfinder constantly until you get something that is pleasing. Keep the concepts of leading lines and the rule of thirds in mind. |

The X Factorby magnumrussComment: Great lighting and focus. A tad more contrast would have been better though I think. |
