Now you see me. by LydiaComment: I enjoyed this on so many levels:
*Beautiful model.
*B&W is not something I am necessarily crazy about, but in this case it is perfect (and not just for hiding flaws, it is just RIGHT).
*Lovely idea (recycled or not, it is still a great idea).
*Fabulous execution.
And then, to top it all off - another Lydia story, something I always enjoy in its own right.
Well done...... I almost wish I hadn't been so stingy with my vote (I was only one of your 9s instead of 10s).

Soft Kittyby tolovemoonComment: Usually we like to have the best focus on the eyes, instead of on the tip of a nose. But I do like your "fill the frame" approach. |

Green Eggs And Hamby LydiaComment: Dang it, I'd hoped you'd do better than 9th place (which isn't exactly bad as such, right?) I was one of your two 10's.
I liked that YOUR pic wasn't a simple shoe-horn snap shot helped along by the title to "explain" it, nor was it even one of those super easy set-ups, but you really put some effort into it!
Still...... in DPC land, this isn't bad at all. Good job! Message edited by author 2015-10-02 06:14:14. |

Mother & Daughter by Samantha_TComment: Oh boy.... cute pics, and lovely story.
As a mother of two girls myself, your middle paragraph had me smiling and nodding with every single word. No doubt, countless parents will read this and totally "get you". Mind you.... sleeping through at 11 weeks??? Wow..... you are spoiled! I had to wait 10.5 months!!!!!
I feel compelled to add my ten cents worth: just when you are sick to death of a certain problem and you're hoping for it to be all over very soon, here is my good/bad advice: it doesn't ever get better, it just changes. Yes, you WILL get over one problem, but it will be replaced by another one.
My girls are now 24 and 21 years old, and yet I STILL worry and have problems with them. Dang it, I guess it will NEVER end. Parenthood, apparently, is a life sentence of love/hate (or at least of love/problems).
Work on loving as much of it as you can. It is here to stay.

Laurel & Hardy?by GeneralEComment: LOL it certainly did need the title for THIS old brain to get the connection, but then I loved it. Subtle, but clever!
