Had a gut feeling that this was yours. I am so inspired by your images... Well done on a top 10 - if I had been the judge it would have placed first!

Interesting overlays of images... would be a great entry for the current Transparency challenge as well! The blue cast is a bit off-putting - it appears as if the white balance was off, but it might very well not have been. Perhaps a black and white conversion might have given this more strength?

Very cute - one of my favourites!! I love the story that seems to be happening here - there is relationship and conversation: casual musings whilst not particularly buying in to the whole commercialism of the season. A maturity perhaps.Focus seems a bit soft however, or perhaps a noise filter that has taken away some crispness.

I like the red, white and blue tones in this...probably get comments about the white balance being off, but it actually makes an interesting palette.

An elegant image - not sure if it is Street Photography or posed, but that doesn't matter really. Lovely contrasts.

Very cute - the duotone conversion works well too. The broad frame is really effective ... hmmm may steal this for my next submission ;-)

Lovely clarity and the frame is different but actually I am thinking it works really well for this image. Great contrasts.

There is a lot of pixelation happening in this image - I think perhaps it is exaggerated by the busy-ness of the leaves/foliage/grass. The shadows have become a very small part of this composition, and if I did not know the challenge topic, I might not have noticed them at all. Yes - there are definitely shadows, but in terms of fulfilling a topic, voters might feel that your image doesn't "scream" shadows - in other words, a bit subtle. It is a lovely composition and I like the way the main tree fills the bottom left quadrant.
