Greetings from the Critique Club:
The initial impression is very strong, a well-titled, and well-realized image. The highway is crunching the cottage below and the eye can rest sadly on the overpass support and the wonderful textures of the cottage. The shapes and textures in the image are satisfying and the leading lines from the wall, overpass support, and roofline are interesting. I wonder if it isn't a bit oversharpened but that is more a matter of individual taste. I think that when one thinks of NG one thinks color, but there are always images in black and white that accompany any story. It is an image that contains many stories to keep a viewer satisfied and that it a successful image. Thanks for the opportunity to spend some time with it.

LOvely columns, I think that you might possibly want a very small crop on the left, just to bring it to the last arch and lose the very little triangle top left, otherwise fine image. Anne

What a treat to have such a view while at work. When I was still working (I am mostly retired) I had a brick wall. At Home though I am surrounded by woods and squirels.
