Nikkiby kasabaComment: Something a bit funky going on with the whites of Nikki's eyes, but otherwise, a good, if rather stock, photo. |

Halifax Village Burying Ground by Bear_MusicComment: Really interesting to see that you took this with a drone! I bought a mini last year, but literally the week I bought it, my area was moved into a no-fly zone, so I haven't been able to practice. Its been really interesting to see how graveyards are around the world. This one resembles many of the British rural graveyards, although the wooden church is a give-away. One thing that does differ is that following a couple of horrific accidents involving small children, all unstable stones are either fixed, or laid down. Having a wander and look around grave yards is something of a British past time, and in rural communities its not unusual to have the sheep in to 'mow' the grass.

Statueby bjoernComment: Your upwards pod works well, adding to the mystery and enhancing the shadows. |

Every sunrise is an invitation to brighten someone’s dayby pgirish007Comment: Despite your title, there is somethings, melancholy, yearning about this photo. I get more of a sense of a prison - both physical and metaphorical - from which the subject is viewing the world from. Whilst deeper shadows would have added drama, I like this softer, subtler approach. |

retreatby tvsometimeComment: A fascinating image with lots to delight. I love that the shadows of the railings all pull the viewers eye into the bicycle and only from there to the shadow of the basket and wheel - like a cherry on top of a bun (or perhaps a chocolate chip hidden inside is a better analogy). Really, very good. |
