Canola Fieldsby ThingFishComment: We call this Rape Seed, and in mid summer many of our fields were bright yellow pieces of a patchwork. Now, though, it has gone out of favour due to some disease that can no longer be treated as the chemical is on the UKs banned list. This is a lovely view, well photographed. |

Winter sunriseby AmmieComment: It took me a short while to get my head around this - the tree branches hanging behind the water confused me until I realised it is a dam or a raised wall of a pond! Pleasing colours, although a little more depth of field would bring the photo up a notch for me. |
