Do Not Set Gentleby posthumousComment: into that good night...
Excellent title :) Lovely play of light skimming this gentle landscape. I rather wish that the setting sun wasn't so distorted, but that would have needed at least two exposures combined. |

TJby GinaRothfelsComment: A real 'fill the frame' image - the wide angle lens has slightly distorted the perspective, but works nonetheless. Rather wish that the chap in the background taking photo wasn't included. |

Aboveby Alex_PetriniComment: Woah, what a vista! I really like your composition and tonal control, but on the uncalibrated laptop I am viewing on, the image looks rather flat and lacking in depth and contrast - I won't vote now, but will re-evaluate when I get the chance to look on my calibrated monitor.
Edit: Much more depth and contrast on the calibrated monitor :) 8. |

Little meby mariucaComment: Oh, what a sweet photo, that so perfectly illustrates the sleepy, weary, times of childhood. Nicely captured. |

Berry Goodby cloudsmeComment: Are those berries really that colour? I've never seen anything like them - and have to own, I find my brain fighting with the colour. A cute capture, sharp in all the places it needs to be, and good exposure across the full tonal range. |

Pioneerby GeneralEComment: Composing with the single flower broadly on the third was a good move, and the title is inspired. Despite that, though, there just isn't enough to hold my interest beyond an initial glance.
I've just glanced up the page while writing this comment, and see the photo afresh, cropped from the top, and I personally prefer that - when presented with the square image the eye is drawn to the brighter foliage at the top of the photo which gives a bit of tension. |
