I like the attempt to do something different. You thought behind the image are nice and so is the capture. Subtlity of the subject makes the difference between a technically perfect picture and the perfectly 'connecting' picture ( not that your picture has any technical flaw but there are many which are equally good or better technically) To me it's one of the best shots in the challenge.
