Stay!by P-A-U-LComment: Three great looking dogs :- )
They might have benefited from a prop that was a different colour to make them stand out a little more and keep the viewers main focus on them ?
That said you did a pretty impressive job keeping them all sitting together and mostly facing one direction :- ) Message edited by author 2011-08-25 13:58:10. |

_MG_1192by whiteroomComment: Love the abstract nature of this, and the gentle pastels in the shot reflecting the bands on their wrist. |

Humanby odriewComment: Again with the feeling of life happening all around you - you almost feel that if you sit very still and concentrate you might pick up some of the sound and atmosphere.
I think you have some really impressive shots in this SC. |

Julyby odriewComment: I love the (almost) impressionist effect going on here !
Wonderful rich colour palette and hint of movement - all so close - but just out of reach. |

Amyby odriewComment: Thistles (?) are a good choice for this as they are both soft and spiky which fits your 'Bittersweet theme' and I think also lend themselves to the light/dark of the layers.
A rich, fascinating shot.
I'm not quite sure about the face - on one level it is a cool extra level that takes a moment to notice, I guess the question for me is whether it adds a level of poignancy and adds to the bigger picture, or whether it is interesting but distracts slightly from the whole thistle thing.
To be honest I have no idea - and that is probably a good thing because it leaves me thinking and wondering which is after all what any good image should do. |
