Exploreby colorcarnivalComment: They didn't quite know where they were heading on this particular day but somehow, the idea of getting into a canoe and paddling their way across the quiet, sleepy hamlet seemed to entice the three adventurers. The youngest was amused by the ripples in the water that his paddle made while his father muttered "just paddle son....I should have chosen the larger canoe because this one is riding mighty low".
As they reached the dense wooded land on the other side, their curiosity was peaking ever higher. What laid beyond, in the depths of the forested area? Would they be safe in going further into the thickened overgrowth?
With a shrill voice...the youngest of the trio let out a sudden shriek, crossing his legs, doubling over in great discomfort. Both his father and his older brother stopped dead in their tracks, looking back, at first in shock, at the little one's unexpected agony. His father stood for a moment without moving then, ever so calmly, reached out for his youngest son's shoulder, placing his hand firmly down upon it.
"I told you, Son," he said, shaking his head, "always go to the bathroom BEFORE we get into the boat!"

- big boys with big toys -by BlackboxComment: That's a real tick-off to say the least! :( It's a great shot! Interesting that someone would have asked for a validation on this shot as there doesn't seem to be anything to indicate that there was an editing rule violation anywhere in it that I can see and that would likely be the ONLY reason that someone would have asked for a validation???? Hmmmmmm.....????? Makes one scratch their head on this one. BTW...I agree with Digifotojo in the aspect that for the type of camera...it gives a great shot!!! :) Message edited by author 2011-02-22 14:04:06. |

Tribute to Monetby DCrest01Comment: Such a shame that we have all of this lovely editing ability and filters and effects and can't use them without punishment in DPC because this shot and your processing really made this a lovely shot. This truly caught my eye and made me smile. I do hope that you'll print it out and frame it because it's worthy of a beautiful spot on a wall as a lovely piece of art! :) |

charlieby bspurgeonComment: I have a different perspective of what true Street Photography is from the truest meaning of the word but, DPC seems to have its own version of it. This one is on the street, and fits DPC's version but, that's as much as I can say here for it (not scoring) |
