Street Cornerby nikolaosComment: This is so absolutely humdrum that I'm slightly stopped in my tracks by it. Can't quite decide if I'm missing something or seduced by the simplicity of it. |

Shuttersby Yo_SpiffComment: This has stopped me slightly, but I don't know why. Your colour treatment, perhaps. can't say there's any immediate appeal in the composition, nor the light .. but there's something. I shall have to return to this one. |

Winter in Cuyahoga Valleyby docurrieComment: Interesting, but my graphic eye is caught more by the potential of that bridge than your scene. I do like the juxtaposition of the impossibly well-maintained hut in that landscape. |

Nature's Layersby TommyMoe21Comment: Intriguing, not least for the extreme flatness of the light you've chosen: it brings a quality of children's art to it - cut to the essentials, as shadows aren't important at all, huh? because of that, it also has a near-snapshot feel to it, like a polaroid at its best. |

777by nixterComment: An entirely memorable image. It can't only be the title that makes me think of a kind of negative shadow of a plane's wing, can it? Was that your thought, or was it simply the shapes? Glorious stuff. |

Eagle's Webby ttreitComment: What i think we might call a really honest photo - many, I think, would urge you to have increased the contrast in the web of trees for the simple sake of impact; but I quite like the muted nature of it. No fan of the selective de-sat though, but you can't have everything. |

angry kitty ready for a scratch your eyesby posthumousComment: Well, obviously, it isn't as good as the original, but then of course its score was much bigger, so that was a given. Neat image, so to speak, and you have a fine handle on the grammer, linguistically speaking (so to speak) etc. etc. |

8.52 Seeing them offby MelethiaComment: Always something about the light in train stations: probably that great big diffuser they have a habit of using as a roof, really. Ask Jean-Jacques, he can't stop shooting Narbonne station for us. Enjoying this stuff immensely. |
