Witches Fingersby wickee_oneComment: Nice contrast between the bright blue sky and deep green leaves, amid those creepy witch fingers! |

First Reflections of Fallby wickee_oneComment: Nice colors and reflections. I really like the line of grass along the farther shore. A tad dark ... could be that your meter was fooled by the bright sky into thinking there was more light than there was.
Next time, maybe try locking the exposure down by pointing the camera at the water (dark area), then recomposing and taking the picture. (Most cameras let you do this by pressing shutter half way down while pointing at the area you want to expose, then keeping it depressed as you move the camera to recompose your image before pressing the shutter the rest of the way down). |

Water Wheelby wickee_oneComment: Nice juxtaposition of the manmade and the natural, well composed. I particularly like the contrast of the red white and blue with the natural surroundings, and then you have the wheel slowly turning to rust and melding from the manmade to the natural. Neat subject. |

Bird-1.jpgby daboardergirlComment: good action shot ... you've got to take those from where you are when they happen. If you had a chance to set it up, would have been nice shot from farther on the left with a longer lens. These are great subjects to just sit for a while and wait for the pictures to come to you. Hey, maybe that's a new challenge. A sitabout! |

Bird-7.jpgby daboardergirlComment: I'd agree that this is my favorite of the series as well ... the barn in the distance adds some context, and the solitary crane in the foreground makes a nice subject contrasted against the other cranes in the middle ground. Nicely composed. How nice to see this at the end of your driveway! |

Grandfather Treeby Trumpeteer4Comment: Nice sharp silhouette, with very nice composition and framing. The colors are beautiful, but for me just a bit too unnatural .. I'd dial the hue adjustment back just a bit. Unless of course you really do have deep purple sunsets where you live, in which case I'm coming for a visit!
Nice group of shots, and a nice little walk you had there. thanks for playing! |

Trioby Trumpeteer4Comment: Great color palette, and I love the drooping shapes. Nice bokeh too, as others have mentioned. Beautiful spot for a walkabout! |

Needin' a Neccoby levyj413Comment: I can't believe you beat me by one place with this shot. What were the voters thinking? This one was worth a 5.4321 at best. Give me a break!
lol -- nice shot. Nice to have a crosseyed model available in your bag of tricks. |

Holgafied-tree.jpgby KenComment: Nice find ... the base of the tree looks like an elephant's foot. Good Holga effect. |
