This is a nice subject and shot. I think the bright light on the field in the foreground takes away from it a bit. A tighter crop (or longer lens) just isolating the textures and colors on the two silos and red barn would make for an interesting abstract image as well.

Ilove the way the light hits the cattail, and the starburst sun. This would make a great square crop if you cut out the bottom part with the lens flare.

What a wonderful juxtaposition of the old and new. Great photo ... the thumb looks kind of ordinary but the fullsize image has a nice surprise. There's a lot to look at here. The horizontal line of the road is nice, and really helps ground the image. A polarizer might have helped pop the sky and show off those clouds a bit more.

Nice rich colors, and I like the balance the grey wall gives in the distance. You might try a crop on the top part of the image that eliminates the sky and roof lines altogether, and really accentuates the colors and forms.

I love your use of DOF here, the twisted forms on that foreground tree really stand out, and the red and white windows make for a nice background that juxtaposes the manmade with the natural in a very nice way. Nice find!
