I am really drawn to the abstract nature of the shot, the colors and the sense of depth to the spiral path caused by the object. I think the black background and border add to a good presentation as well.

I really like what you've done here, the color saturation, the negative space around the "expanded" droplet and the dof blur all work to create a great composition. It also looks like a glow is on the center which add to the lighting on that section - although I can't tell if that section is even real which makes the editing job even better. Thanks for sharing.
