I'm impressed that you got the cat to sit for this one! What a beautiful cat! However, the white in the hat seems a blown out from the flash. Also, I think if the blanket he was sitting on was black, that would have created a little more attention on the cat. It seems a little busy. Good clarity on the cat's face though.

I really thought we would see this in the top 5 at least. It was in my top 2!! Great capture, you succesfully captured emotion, but it is still general enough that people can interpret the meaning for themselves depending on what is happening in their lives.
