The Olde Stock Routeby JudiComment: almost a pun on stock photography. nice job - i'm sure advanced editing could make this into one hell of an image :) |

The Transporterby gocComment: lol - mmhrmmm? love the contrast with the shaded background - picks him out nicely. Not sure if he could do a roundhouse kick tho... |

Obsolete?by cheekymunkyComment: wonder how many bible bashers will crit this / vote low? :) Nice shot - could be a tad brighter in the midtones, but apart from that a strong entry. |

The Clowns Jewels!by hicksComment: so no real creative image concept to interest or speak to me, except the intended pun in the title. Try using desk lamps rather than the onboard flash to light this "product shot" style image, the lighting will really help give the shot some impact if you blow out the background and light the subject from the sides. Centre placement also doesnt do this image any favours, nor does the fact that the "Jewels" arent really given as much pride of place that the title suggests.
Just trying to help you with my thoughts on why i scored this low. |

Confused clownby t3nchiComment: image is too dark, lighting is a bit weird, i dont get the title, slightly out of focus/motion blurred (cant tell which) and the composition is a bit unsettling. "Confused viewer"
Just putting down some thoughts to help you in what must be a low scoring entry. |

sigh... I wish he'd stop clowning around...by rdebruynComment: Severe purple fringing let this image down a lot, the quality / clarity isnt there either. I realise these are technical rather than artistic criticisms, but they can both be reduced past the level presented here, if not in postwork but in use of whatever camera you have. Nice out of the box concept but doesnt really say "clown" to me unless you read the title which is infact an idiom, so is only related to clowns in an abstract manner anyway. |

Dreams of Clownhoodby jaysonmcComment: I get the connection, but just a bit too far out of the box to make a strong case - not saying dnmc because it isnt, it just isnt far enough into the challenge, plus although the image is ok compositionally it just looks unimpressive. Noise, tilt and drab colour scheme adds to that.
Just trying to be helpful on an image i didnt score to well. |

Flameby RoosterComment: haha - very cool.. i like it. Might have been good to get more definition on the base of the flame / inclusion of the wick somehow. |

Air Traffic Control by hotpastaComment: sweet. shame about the nose being cropped off the final one, but still a great image and use of the technique. Tho i suppose you couldnt hang around too much taking shots on the airport boundaries, hehe. |
