Pike Place Marketby AgaricusComment: I love this image, i think its because even though i live in the UK, i know so much about Pike Place (well at least i think i do). Pike Place features in one of our training modules for new starters to the company and shows them the importance of working as a team and motivation. It shows those whacky guys throwing the fish around (now that would be a good photograph). Anyways, well done for bringing back some funny memories, isnt that what photography is about ? Memories. |

I'm sorry, the injuries were too severe...you're going to be a vegetable...by NowaytotellComment: This is bordering on offensive for those that have suffered horrific injuries.
Imagine the doctor uttering these words about one of your children: "I'm sorry sir, but due to the injuries your child has received, he is going to be a vegetable for the rest of his life."
I understand your attempt at humour, but you need to consider the feelings of those with handicap members of family.
For the record, i have not marked you down for this image but needed to highlight my thoughts. |

An excellent harvestby rinacComment: Right, this is touch a one for me to call, because technically your subject is not actually a fruit or a vegetable. Yes, it is made from a fruit, but you wouldnt call a diamond a lump of coal, just because it is made from it would you ?
Nice idea and can see where you were coming from so i wont penalise you with a very low scare, but even though the image is technically beautiful and well executed i can only offer you mid range points. |
