Through the Looking Glassby cryanComment: What amazes me in the side challenges is the variety of subjects people find in their surroundings. Stuff I would see but never think of photographing, thinking it is worthless in terms of photographic potential. This image is one of many who repeatedly prove me wrong. I like the light and colors - it evokes the end of the day, the retreat home and maybe enoying some time relaxing and sipping some wine.
That's why I love side challenges: they can get you out of a rut in no time! Thanks for sharing! |

shineby krnodilComment: I really like this one. The blurriness goes so well with the delicate structure of the flowers. I also like the tones of the image, like it's the end of the summer. It reminds me of some japanese drawings. |

Poppyby MelethiaComment: This is incredibly beautiful and soft. It is as though the image is softening itself to match the light and delicate nature of the poppy. Colors are amazing too. |

Acid washby MelethiaComment: I just love this: the slight tilt, the acid wash, the position of the man, the hose guiding our eyes into the action... i really, really enjoy this! |

Abandoned Cottageby DeenComment: You had a good subject but personnaly, I find the post-production a bit too much. |

Kitchen Viewby jasonlpriceComment: Thank you for the inside shot! I am half way through voting and I am already tired of old barns!! I like your treatment and how this looks like it's been abandoned in a rush. |

The Forgotten Onesby eye-spyComment: Creepy! I wish you had included a little of the surroundings, to give a feel of the "rural" setting. Your subject is really original (no barns!) and it could have done really well but I think you're gonna get pounded for not being rural enough... |

V E S T I G Eby bspurgeonComment: good use of composition and leading lines to guide the eye to your subject. Good toning too. |

Deck the Hallsby pwm6Comment: if someone took the time to decorate this barn, it is because they still use it somehow... Unbelievable! |
