4 - Brown Heron -- correction, juvenile black crowned night heronby ErikVComment: I like this shot, I have not seen a brown heron before. If i were hyper- critical, i think if you had stood up on your tiptoes or up a wee bit higher somehow, you may have gotten all green around his head vs. the stick, would of helped him to pop even more. But, I do think it is a good shot. Nice details... hope to see more of this guy... if he is close to your house maybe we can see him with a fish in his mouth or something : ) |

3 - Some Sort of Bee or Wasp (ETA or Hoverfly)by ErikVComment: I like the sharpness of this image, i also like it is cuz it is a pollinator, we need more appreciation of them in our world, without them we'd have no food!
Anyway great color, angle, and habitat shot.
Well done : ) |

Red Spotted Purpleby MaryOComment: I love the color and light of this shot.
My biggest frustration in wildlife shooting is getting close enough, imho, i wish I were a bit closer to it, maybe not a macro, I do like the log.... just maybe a little less of it and a little more of the butterfly : ) |

Wild Boarsby in2truthComment: i like this shot, in part because I have not been to borneo and have not seen a wild boar before. I really like there 'beards'.
I also like the composition of the one in the foreground and one in background really draws you into the image.
My only 'complaint' is that I would of liked his eye to be open, just to to see his soul.

The Thing!by SteefComment: He is SO cute. Nice light on him.
I am pretty sure ground hogs have not been responsible for any deaths, maybe next time you could get a wee bit closer : ) |

Final Approachby PaulComment: I like the PS treatment of the bug, tho I do wish the flower was not quite so whitish still, I am wondering if you can darken it a bit more, I think the purple and yellow of the bee would make a for good complimentary colors?
Just a thought |

1 - Baby Bunny Feedingby ErikVComment: That is so sweet that she lets you shoot while she is nursing. That makes it a great capture in my mind.
One thing I would suggest, is that next time maybe you get a fair bit lower. It would make for a nice angle.
Very cute : ) |

Honolulu Zoo by JovanComment: imho this is by far the best shot in the challenge. I suspect a ribbon coming your way.
Nicely done. I have been to Honolulu and several times and always thought about going to the zoo and never did, now I am wishing I had.
Well done. |
