Even with good depth of field control, the extensive detail in the glittery area behind diminishes the separation of the subject from background (except for the bit down in the lower right corner).

Abstract but without sense of scale. The uniformity of parts of the red diagonal area despite a calibrated monitor suggests the red channel may have clipped at the bright end (easy to do even when overall exposure is good).

My eyes zero in on the neck of the vase as refuge from the cluttered table environment. I think a close up with frame filled by the simple shape of that part of the vase, the symmetrical leaves, and single visible stem, perhaps against a dark background, could be a very strong image.
