Aqueous Silenceby ZigomarComment: I find the filter a bit distracting in a revisit of this entry. It is probably just a tad too much filter for me. I do love the photo and it really looks like an oil painting. Though the elements are different it looks like a painting I attempted back in high school, long, long ago. The colors on the boat are amazing. I stand behind my original scoring. |

Pond at Chagrinby ErikVComment: I like what you've done here however the overly bright top center is what keeps me from giving you a higher score. I know you would probably lose detail in the trees to the left and that might be your reasoning for leaving the brightness. It looks like this is done in camera with a bit of movement. Bravo! |

Vase with Dahliasby banmornComment: Just a tad too much movement! The background is amazing, is it painted or, what is it? I know everyone is scared to center an object these days but I would like this a bit more centered as well. |

Dream Treeby kristat123Comment: Beautiful play of light and color, I am moving up my vote because it looks painterly. I love movement in photographs and am not a pure sharpness freak when it enhances the look. I hand held my 150mm lens for 1.6 seconds on a very windy day for my entry and love the look and feel even if it is getting panned in the voting. Thanks for your entry. |

Country Side Paintingby TheStickComment: In revisiting this entry of yours, I am inclined to move up my vote score a bit. I saw some flowers in pink and I think purple that would have been very much like this except I couldn't wrap my mind around a chain link fence being impressionism. You have inspired me to look differently at what my mind usually filters out and I applaude you for that. Well done! |

Flights of Fancyby KelliComment: I had the same thought with marigolds in yellow and orange but entered something completly different. I am wishing the filter was applied more lightly but I love the virbrance of colors and the subject matter. I am moving this up a bit. |

Labor Day Gardener with Hatby skewsmeComment: I am moving you up a notch, OK two notches, because of the impressionism era look of your entry. I read through the forum on this challenge and have researched a bit more on impressionism and this really meets the challenge in my eyes. Great job! I think you deserve a 10! |
